The USP is a proposed project for the grant of charter by the government of Punjab. The infrastructure facilities as envisaged in the norms and criteria notified by the Punjab government are being created.

The Marjan Educational Trust has taken keen interest in establishing an Institute of higher learning in this region of Southern Punjab in the name of "The University of Southern Punjab Multan (Proposed) ". The Marjan Educational Trust has vast experience at its credit to run a number of Institutions from tert iary to university level very successfully throughout Pakistan.
A limited number of financial assistance will be available to those who have maintained first class career prior to admission in the University. The number of financial assistantship vary from department to department for which announcement will be made by each department separately.
Facilities
Besides regular classroom's lectures, the students will be encouraged to add their knowledge from other sources. For this purpose , scholars from various disciplines are invited to deliver lectures and hold seminars.
