Multan ( City of Saints )
This thriving city has changed its name several times in its long history that can be traced back to 4000 years or more. This city is ruled by various dynasties. Multan was given the status of capital by its various old rulers. The older part of the city still exists within the defensive wall. There is much a famed Qasim Fort situated on the rock. The old houses and many of artefacts / remains are speaking of its past glory.
Multan has remained the centre of education through out its history as a number of desirous and interested people of the Southern Punjab as well as all over the subcontinent have been acquiring education in this ancient city to quench their thirst of knowledge. Multan has always been a tower of light and beacon for educating people of the area. This has been a tradition of Multan to promote spiritual as well as modern education to cater the needs of its inhabitants. This is an obligatory responsibility to carry on the tradition in its befitting manners by launching programmes of higher learning in the areas of modern scientific education to enrich the horizons of their visions and enhancement of their spectrum so that they may play vital role in the development of the society and country as a whole.
