The process of acquiring knowledge and achievement of excellence is a legacy of our religion. The providence Almighty Allah in the first revelation of Divine Communication “READ BY THE NAME OF YOUR CREATOR” is a guiding principle for the entire humanity. We are in fact the custodian of this trust vested into us by the dictums of Almighty Allah.
The Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) made the process of learning compulsory for the believers and stressed to “SEEK KNOWLEDGE FROM CRADLE TO GRAVE”. This signifies the importance of education for the entire humanity and more particularly for Muslim Ummah. The heavy past history of Muslims bears witness of marvelous and outstanding contribution of Muslim Scholars and Scientists of Middle Ages in various Branches of Science. The Muslim Universities established at BAGHDAD, GHARNATA, KARTABA, were renowned institutions of higher learning delivering excellence in academics. These towers of higher knowledge enkindled the torch of technical knowledge both for East and West in multiple areas of technologies like Civil and Mechanical Engineering, Textile, horticulture, agriculture and architecture etc. they pioneered wonderful scientific inventions for the welfare of the humanities. Unfortunately the apathetic attitude of Muslims towards attaining excellence in education reduced them to subservient position. The tide of events turned in the favour of the West by virtue of attaining proficiency in the world's most powerful technologies of computing, Information Technology, Commerce & Management Sciences and Media. It is high time to take dynamic role in the society with focus strategies to make young men dignified Muslims, proud of their heritage and free from any complex in the new world's society. A big task is ahead to revive and restore ascendancy of Muslim Ummah to its rightful place in to day's modern world.
Quaid-e-Azam advised his people to organize themselves economically, socially, and educationally to make Pakistan powerful and prosperous. The dream to build Pakistan stronger demands scarification, professionalism, commitment, determinations and devotion not to depend on other for survival.
Visualizing the prevailing state of affaires the inception of an institution of higher learning in the name and style of THE
Institute OF SOUTHERN PUNJAB MULTAN has become more imperative to impart quality education identical with that of international standards for the inhabitants of neglected area of Southern Punjab by launching multiple programmes in modern sciences.
It will embark upon august mission to produce quality professionals in all fields of education for the welfare of Muslim Ummah in particular and entire humanity in general. This would be achieved by providing fabulous, conducive and pleasant learning environment with close liaison with research centers inside and outside the Pakistan.
