Admission Policy

The Institute  of Southern Punjab (ISP) will admit students whose educational background is sound and can obtain success in higher education.

Applications will be received for admissions to undergraduate and graduate programmes will be reviewed by the concerned department / admission committee.

The applications will be subjected to an admission test, on the basis of which their merit is determined and those who fulfill the standard set by the Institute are admitted to the desired course.

The Institute will operate on tri semester basis holding three semesters each year, namely Fall, Winter, and Summer Semester.

Students will also be admitted to the Institute on transfer from other recognized institutions provided they will fulfil minimum requirements and criteria set out for this purpose by each department of the Institute.

The Institute will also organize special academic certifications and development training programmes. These programmes include the training of teachers in different faculties for enhancing teaching learning process. Such programmes will be available throughout the year.

Admission Procedure

REGULAR DEGREE BOUND STUDENTS
New Students

Applications for admissions will be invited at the beginning of each semester.

Students will be required to apply on a prescribed admission form appended with the package of information relating to the Institute, from the Admission Officer of the Institute.

Independent inquires can be made from the registrar of the Institute.

Eligibility

Eligibility criteria for each degree programme will appear in the advertisement and is will also be described in the information package.

Each student will be admitted on merit , will be expected to take the full load of courses prescribed for the semester.

Letters of admissions of the students admitted in the Institute will be issued by the office of the Registrar.

The letter of admissions not only announces the admissions of the applicant but also spell out the programme of orientation, registration, enrollment, fee structure and launching date of classes / academic activities.

Only the students who have completed all the formalities and deposited their fees on the prescribed date will be eligible to attend the classes.
