The Marjan Educational Trust has taken keen interest in establishing an Institute of higher learning in this region of Southern Punjab in the name of “The University of Southern Punjab Multan (Proposed) ”. The Marjan Educational Trust has vast experience at its credit to run a number of Institutions from tertiary to university level very successfully throughout Pakistan. The territorial limit of The University of Southern Punjab is very vast and its boundaries are stretching away to far-flung areas.

The USP is a proposed project for the grant of charter by the government of Punjab. The infrastructure facilities as envisaged in the norms and criteria notified by the Punjab government are being created. The proposed project is under active process for the grant of NOC in the beginning to be followed by Charter.

The syllabi, to be delivered through highly qualified faculty is demand oriented rather than supply oriented. Special care has been exercised to ensure employability which determine end product both at the national as well as International levels. Changing trends all over the world particularly in the field of Information Technology and Management Sciences have been kept in view while designing the curriculum and creating the infrastructure facilities.
The University campus is presently situated adjacent to the Khana-a-Farhang on the main road leading to Lahore Multan Quetta that is popularly known as LMQ Road. It is easily approachable from all parts of the city. There is an educational environment all around it.
